You can buy the aircon filter dryer from these guys http://www.racetechdirect.co.uk/tvr-car-part-p0121... as it's a universal part.

Not sure if this will help. My aircon stopped working and thought it was the compressor because I had it re-gassed and it didn't fix the problem. I phoned another local guy to come and take a look at it again (who was lovely, but f
k me I hope I never get stuck next to him at a dinner party, he knew EVERYTHING about aircon, aircon was his life). He said that it was very common for the old mondeo units to get blockages and that you needed to blow the blockage out and the compressor is quite often okay. If it's a blockage it has the same effect as low pressure and shuts the compressor off - he said the best thing to do to work out of its the compressor or just a blockage is to drain the system and measure how much comes out. Re-fill the system and he said you should be able to get about 80-90% of the volume suggested in, if it it's a blockage the amount in and the amount out should match and you certainly wont be able to get 90% of the volume in. Mine got to about 30% and then said it was full. He emptied and filled mine about three times until he could get 90% of the volume in on a single go and it has been going strong ever since!
