With regards to the above subject how easy a job is this?

Can anyone recommend some decent bulbs?

Its for Elise 160 Sport

Did mine yesterday - took about 10 mins.

Turn the wheels to full lock to get access to the large rubber bung behind the headlight. Remove this to access to bulb - you can also pull down the whole wheel arch liner for easier access.
Remove the plug and pull off the rubber cover.
There's a metal clip holding the bulb in place. This clips in at the top of the unit - a bit of wiggling and it should become clear how this comes off.
Remove bulb, replace, blah blah blah...

If you can, borrow the nearest girls vanity mirror... reason being that the clip that holds the bulb in can be a real pain, kinda shaped like an inverted omega, if you can see it the hob is 100 times easier

Inverted omega is a good description. The top two clips need to be pushed forwards, towards the bulb, and then they kind of release outwards...

Philips VisionPlus are generally well respected. I'm considering getting some higher wattage ones though as I still can't see sh|t!
