Daytona 24 coverage
Discussion
This is looking epic with the P2s taking on the DPs and the GTE field from the ALMS hitting the banking too, as well as a stellar line up in some interesting GTD field.
Could be the best for years.
Does anyone know how much of the race Motors are going to show and if there will be any live stream (and if so where). If anyone finds out anything nearer the time, please post here.
cheers

Radio Le Mans are not involved this year and in the US Fox have the contact to show the race.

As I've said before, if those of us who are active followers of sportscar racing are having difficulty working out how to watch the race, what chance of the casual fan finding it and growing the sport by introducing new viewers?
In this day and age if you can't go directly to daytona.com/tusc.com (or whatever the acronym is)/lemans.com/etc (depending on the series) and clearly see a HUGE link saying "Click Here to Watch The Whole Race" then there is something seriously wrong.

Part of the problem is the organisers still want to try and generate revenue from selling the TV rights, which won't be worth as much if people can also watch live for free on the internet. In its current state I agree though, focus should be on promotion of the series to get people into it and to get people wanting to go and see their local round. In this day and age if you can't go directly to daytona.com/tusc.com (or whatever the acronym is)/lemans.com/etc (depending on the series) and clearly see a HUGE link saying "Click Here to Watch The Whole Race" then there is something seriously wrong.
