For some reason the Recaro's in my RX-8 R3 wear a lot faster than the normal RX-8 seats.
Granted I am a chunky guy but I'm always very careful getting in and out so I don't damage my seats, but in the 8 months that I have had it the bolster wear is become what is in my eyes, terrible.
How would I go about getting this sorted? Would the seat need to be reupholstered or what?

Are they leather? Is it just rubbing the leather down a bit or is it starting to damage the material?
Both the Tuscan and MG seem to suffer therse issues and one suggestion I had was to pick up a dye kit from ebay and re dye the leather. Not sure if that would bring it back to its former glory.
