Afternoon,

It’s my 40th later this year and a few friends and I will be coming down to London for the weekend at the end of April.

I know London very well but I've never really done a pub crawl. When going out it has always been to specific bars/restaurants then drinks close by after.

So I wondering if anyone has any good pub crawl routes to recommend? We are staying in the Mayfair area but happy to go further out if need be. We will be starting early on the Friday afternoon and I wouldn’t mind stopping at a decent restaurant for an early dinner at say 5.30pm. I had been thinking about Corrigan’s for that but up for suggestions too.

Saturday is sorted as we will be drinking around Islington after watching Newcastle beat the Gunners;)

Cheers

Depending how brave you are there is circle line or monopoly board. I'm sure if you google them you can find them.

You've got an unlimited variety of crawls you could do if you do a bit of research into what pubs are out there.

You could pick an area - Camden, Shoreditch, Soho, South Bank, Hammersmith, Upper Street etc you could try the circle line or monopoly, guaranteed to destroy you and lose all your mates on the underground system!

You could pick pub themes - animals, kings/queens/dukes & duchesses, oldest pubs, certain Brewers like Youngs or Fullers, colours, parts of the body

There are even companies that to organised crawls and bus (or fire engine or cycle taxi) you around as well!

Hmmm, I feel thirsty now....
