Good Logs Required nr Alton

Afternoon all,

I am looking for someone local to Alton who can provide me with good, seasoned, hardwood logs. Incidentaly, I live next to a tree surgeon who gave me a load for £50 but they are a bit pants to say the least so wont be using him again.
Happy to spend up to around £70 a load.

On the flipside, if there is anyone with a chainsaw and a spare afternoon let me know. There are still plenty of felled trees around here! Beer and lunch on me!

I have just bought a house that had a wood burner and there is a stack of wood in the garage you can have it if you want to come and collect it from north baddesley (Southampton)?

There is a bloke in Worldham behind the pub who sells logs. I can find out a contact number if needed. He's a good chap, lent me a 2 post lift to paint the underneath of my 7.

Have chainsaw will travel! Also have a burner so always on the look out for timber.

Wood from a tree surgeon is probably not seasoned? Seasoning is everything with firewood.
