car for a tall bloke
Discussion
Despite being 6'6", I can fit into most cars (cue my driving a Mini), but the issue arises when I need to cart the kids around.
As my oldest is coming up to 6, his feet don't stretch to the floor, meaning that I have to leave enough room in between the back of my seat, and his, for his big feet.
I will be leasing, so am CO2 and P11D sensitive, but care to recommend a car suitable for a family with one very tall dad?

I'm 6ft 5" and on the odd occasion when I have back seat passengers there's a scramble not to sit behind me so I wouldn't recommend Merc C Class. Ive no kids and the dog seems perfectly happy I got an estate :-)
Skoda Superb is amazingly good for space and ticks all the environmental cost benefits as well as mpg if you want it to.
New Avensis is worth a drive, I've looked at one but yet to drive.

Cheers. I've had an extended drive in a C-Class Estate and E-Class saloon, and whilst great cars, they lacked something, but more importantly both weren't big enough!Skoda Superb is amazingly good for space and ticks all the environmental cost benefits as well as mpg if you want it to.

The main driver of the car will be the wife, and whilst the Superb is a great car, I can't see her opting for that. I considered the Avensis, but I just can't do it!
The options I have put forward, based on her requirements are the Honda CR-V (1.6 diesel), Touran, Zafira. I haven't driven the first or last of these, but will be shortly. The joys of running a fleet I suppose.
