Evening,

We have a 2013 Vauxhall Vivaro at work which has covered less than 10,000 miles. I haven't driven it but a colleague who has claims that it handles and understeers like a pig on the majority of country lanes that we cover.
It has decent tyres on, well maintained and due to the low mileage and age, I would be very surprised if it anything has worn, which would result in the handling and understeering issues. Before I started, they had a 2009 Ford Transit and he is adamant that he has no choice but to take the same corners at 20mph less in the Vauxhall.

He has explained reasons as to why he prefers the Transit but I highly doubt the Vivaro is as bad as he makes out. The only thing he prefers in the Vauxhall is the clutch. Would any PH'ers like to share their experiences of driving the Vivaro? Who is right? Does it understeer like a pig? What are your thoughts?

I've owned one from new, it doesn't drive any differently to any other van I've had, probably not much help sorry.

Thought so.
I have only had a brief passenger ride in one and they didn't seem that bad.

Mods, I would appreciate if you could change the title to the correct spelling. Thank you.
