I am looking to make some parts for my car and I just want to ask some questions.

1. I want to make wheel vents and I really like these ones. Does anyone have more photos of this car? Does anyone know if I can buy the ones from this car?

2. I want a rear clam lip too and an aggressive rear diffuser. Does anyone know apart from molding in to the rear clam this type of rear lip, is there something available off the shelf? Also, is there any rear diffuser available for sale like this one?

3. Does anyone know if there are off the shelf roof scoops available too? Also, how do they attach as it seems you have to lose the rear clam latch.

Many thanks!

The vents are on Javiers car "Srreck" on the forum.
The central latch is not on a structural point of the clam IMO the two slam latches at the sides do all the work needed here.
Tail lip not sure about.

The diffuser would have to fit to the clam unless you make some major mods to the clam or the hinge mechanism.

We have added two latches either side of the scoop, as we have our own air intake which goes in place of the scoop. Roof scoop is something on the list, but will mate to our air intake.

Hi alexcim
you may need to consider the opening of the rear clam if you are thinking of fitting an aggressive rear defuser ?
Wing vents and rear scoop are available via SS
I am sure somebody will come along with a no soon

What is SS?

For the rear diffuser I was thinking to make it removable, mounting on the rear clam with something like flush flathead screw things. I've seen them on friends drag cars before.

I'll contact the other owner and ask about the wheel vents. Thanks guys!

There was someone a couple of years ago who had a proper looking one fitted to a standard car - it was on the car that was chrome wrapped, was it JK?
If it's just for looks, SS does a nice little carbon piece that attaches to the clam.

As Russ says, SS can also do nice vents.

Thanks. Already spoke with Javier about it and also spoke to Steve about the stuff available out of the UK.

Going to get my car 3D modeled next week, then start doing CFD testing on different splitter / cannard / wing / vent options.

I am also going to get those hinges fabricated up to have the rear clam hinge back and totally vertical.
