A fantastic use of 4-5 hours. It improved my driving skills and confidence in the TVR no end. Would highly recommend it and Cliff in the Marlow region was fab

I've done both half and full day, and have to sort out another full day early next year. Thoroughly recommend them, Did nearly 300 miles on the full day, so be prepared to be mentally knackered at the end. You will learn loads, most of it (I found) without even knowing it! Surely the best way to learn.

Hi Beano, just read your review as I'm thinking of doing one next year, but maybe go for the two day course. Did you feel you could handle another day, on top of the first?

Also, one question, the Heidi mentioned wouldn't be a Nussbaum by any chance?!? Just a coincidence perhaps...

So you got your 450, at last! Heidi's pointed out that you're another Cap, and it takes us a while for us to get round to things!!!

Two days in one go? Well it's quite draining when you get concentrating hard - and I wouldn't feel like it today, but not impossible!

I did the half day track and half day road. Highly recomended. I completely changed my driving style and now think very differently when 'pressing on'.

They were very flexible to - anything in particular that you want to cover - I asked to concentrate on confidence at speed and under braking and I got exactly that.

As Motoring Widow (aka "the missus") said I did a half day course yesterday as a refresher to build some confidence handling the Cerbera and to ensure I'd picked up no bad habits. Really enjoyed it and came away beaming after blatting from SE London up to Cambridgeshire through twisties and B roads I've never been through before.

I'd done another half-day course last year with the S3 and we did a regional Ride Drive day at Enstone that was more tail-out fun oriented. I will probably go for another course (full day with track time) next year I reckon.

One thing to be aware of is that Ride Drive is that the road courses are not about on-the-edge handling and tail-out antics, more about gaining a better picture of the road and obstacles around you as well as those you are yet to see

Driving technique, basic driving test stuff and theory is only dealt with if there are issues, for example the police (Roadcraft) technique is for sequential actions in braking: brake, change gear, steer and I brake and change at the same time so that was noted.

Go for it, at £120 for a half day course you'd be silly not to.
