Hi all.

Getting quite excited and fancy going on night exercises at the 24. Anyone got any tips? I suspect those that do will keep Schtum but worth an ask!

Cheers

Search for gaps in fences before scaling them and leaving flesh behind.

Wear old, and dark clothes.

You will get muddy, and there will be barbed wire. From bitter experience. The marshals are actively expecting people to do it, and will generally not be too arsey if they catch you - provided that you aren't taking the pee (like sitting on the armco).

Take a camera, don't use a flash/light, and get some of the most memorable footage of Le Mans.

This!

One of our group ended up in A&E with a typhoid shot after ripping a huge hole in his arm trying to scale on of the fences a few years ago. To be fair we all took the same route, but managed to avoid injury - he was perhaps unlucky but we have never taken that approach since... indeed said person has unsurprisingly been the one encouraging us to be a bit cleverer and a bit less gung-ho.

... and the result has been the same since - fantastic viewing and listening .... but with a completely safe journey there and no fence scaling! Definately one to tick off the Le Mans "to-do" list.

... finding the way there is half the fun though :-)
