Does the hard pipe kit really make a lot of difference? And am I right in saying that as I already have the inter cooler that one of the pipes is a repeat ?

+1 on Duncan's question.

Also, apparently it gives more power, but is this possible without another remap? (Already been to Trevor) And is it noticeable?

Assume they come in black....?

When it was developed I think we got an extra few bhp at over 500. But they are far more rugged, have a good look at your curly hose and see how many holes are in it, oh and of course they have the bling appeal.

Mine are black and they didn't charge me any extra. Silver as standard though.

does black not attract heat more than any other colour? so it will suck the heat from the engine bay and raise the temp of the charged air inside the pipes?

Black absorbs light/UV/IR waves, it doesn't soak up dissipated heat any faster than other colours. If you put a black cat in an oven and a white cat in the oven they will both be ready at the same time.
