No, you take the mirror surround off then you will see. There are very awkward screws inside which are probably seized...if anything like mine anyway!

If you mean the pod-style mirrors on the doors, there's some info here:

There are two screws at diagonally-opposite corners of the pod, they are usually rusted to hell.
