Go 100K plus on the mileage with good history and grab a bargain. IMO well under priced compared to the post 100K 964 or 3.2, and no reason for it. The 993 engine can go for serious mileage.
This is probably the best advice you can follow, forget the low mileage queens. Look for a good used car.In terms of values, there is certainly proof that values are starting to rise, especially for the manual coupe Carrera and C4.
Dont discount a targa but make sure that the roof works properly as fixes are now difficult and expensive.
I would do it now, dont wait for the good weather as it is possible that there will be further rises this year.
I had the same thoughts. My boxster value was only going one way. I have bought a 993 carrera polar silver,95,000miles,black leather for £24950.It had new bilsteins,ht leads, airbag clock spring, airbag module, full service. Quite a few stone chips but I got offered £10500 for my clean 05 2.7 boxster and thought if I dont get one soon I probably never will! I have no regrets,Its Magic!!!

Going to look at 2 Tomorrow ðŸ‘
Obviously amongst lots of other things, just remember to lift rear carpets to see if there is any damp. Ask them to open the sunroof and pour a small amount of water into the sunroof gutter, open up the engine lid and watch for water pouring out the rubber grommets in each top corner, if it does great, if it dont the pipes have come unstuck from the grommets (easy fix) but the rear footwells/front footwells will be soaking inside the car.Lots of hassle to dry out if they have got bad, but not really a deal breaker, more a chance for a discount and weeks of drying out ....
Hope it goes well

Congrats Balamory, sounds like a cracking and sorted car. I saw one today too, but not up to scratch...will keep looking.
The turbo at JZM looked a bit special, but I'd be afraid to put miles on it let alone shell out £80K.
Seems to be sold already. The seats were grim to be honest. The turbo at JZM looked a bit special, but I'd be afraid to put miles on it let alone shell out £80K.
