Merc C Class coupe 2nd hand prices vs Saloon

Just looked at 2nd hand price of Merc c lasses 2/3 years old and the coupes are commanding a 4-5k premium over equivalent saloons.

Is this because its a newer model , more desirable?

I would imagine there will be a lot of coupes coming off 2/3 year leases soon

Its the same story with the Audi A5/ Audi A4 and BMW 3-series. Coupes are generally more desirable as well as costing more in the first place. It also comes down to good old supply and demand
