De-humidifier for the garage.

Yes yes I know, you should cure the cause, but I cant the back of the garage is the retaining wall for the garden with a house on the top of it!

Needs to be able to pipe water collected out so I dont have to empty it.

Suggestions of makes you have had good experience with appreciated.

I have a thread running here: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

I'm also on the look out for one. I think I'm going to buy this: http://www.dry-it-out.com/DD822-Graphite-dehumidif... which should be fine for a small, well sealed single garage.

Great, thanks. Will take a look. My garage is a 3 bay with a large roof room (roof is not sealed from bays).

Lucky!

Maybe you'd be better with a carcoon then. With a large space and open roof eaves, a dehumidifier might not be very effective (just my thoughts, I've no experience with them yet!)

I am not doing this for the benefit of the cars, so much as the (oak) garage and the room upstairs are damp...

Looking about quite a few downt work in cold temps, so I have ordered one of these. Will let you know how I get on.
