To fill the garage, what next
Discussion
So what next.....im selling the 350z and putting in some cash to give me between 10 and 12k
Currently my heart is with a Corvette C3, went to see one the other weekend and thought that it has to be one of the coolest cars around that i could get into
My heart up until then was with TVR and the GF turn around yesterday and said we should look at them as well
So PH im turning to you to provide your criticism, experiences and thoughts
My criteria:
It will be always garaged:
No BMW, MERC, AUDI
Rear wheel drive
2 seats
Not convertible, but t top is ok
Mostly weekend car, unless i take it to work on the occasional Friday in summer
(hopefully V8 so its loud and noisy)
Got to be an event driving it
not at all worried about mpg
I wont be able to drive it until next January hopefully when i get my license back
(medical)
However the GF can drive me around in it

I'd have said Cerbera or maybe XKR (with 2 spare small seats...)
I do like C3 Vettes though. Simple mechanics and no depreciation either.
Cerbera is on my list, not sure about general reliability with the Cerbs, but they do come with a wicked sound track and the interior is very unique. I do like C3 Vettes though. Simple mechanics and no depreciation either.
The bold arches over the front wheels of the Vette make it stand out a lot and they are very argicultural

Monaro, great suggestion however there is something about them , just dont see myself driving one
XJR bit to old looking for me, however i saw one pher brought one of these V12s and they loved it, again not for me
Jag Xk, Tha jags are ok, this being the R version is slightly more appealing but the looks are very refined, where as TVR and Vette are ...well.....not
Maserati, its a bit different hadnt thought of that, gf doesnt like
Vette, very red....very red...just very red....but.....on the list it goes
Vette C4 - looks like a wedge of cheese

Ford Thunderbird...now we are talking.....and the look from the GF says thats not happening

Interior is a bit ropey, otherwise it's a pretty cool car for the bucks and should shovel.
