When in the UK this week I passed a car with a license plate 'LM13 xxx' which made me think that in 10 and something years, we'll have the 'LM24 xxx' series of license plates on the market.

So my questions are:
-Would you like to have this on your car?
-And if so, how much would you pay for it?
(As I am living in Belgium, I never will own such a cool plate as this, because here we don't have personalised license plates)

Edit: well, we sort of do. But it has to be 9-xxx-111 or 9-111-xxx. Not very cool.

But with a careful placing of a gap they could be useful for owners of a certain type of porsche

Well, there are two Porsches in Belgium with
9-ELF-911
9-119-ELF

'ELF' is the dutch word for 'Eleven', so the plates read
9-Eleven-911
9-119-Eleven

But that was not the question! Who would like the LM24 HRS plate?
GT6 apparently not, albeit being a Le Mans nutter, but apparently not nutty enough smile
I would have it, but at a maximum of 2000 pounds, which would not buy it I guees!

Edited to say: In Belgium the police isn't as lax as the UK police (if the 'Crappy License Plate' thread is anything to go by) and any infringement with bolds or 4s disguised as As and any chavvy stuff like that will lead to severe punishment and hefty bills!

Back on topic please!

It would have to go on a new car. As with all plates with an age element you can't put the plate on a car older than the plate.

Didn't 24 HRS recently go in the DVLC auction for silly money?

A quick google showed 24 HRS went for £11k, but if I had the cash I would have bought it or as the OP asked I would buy LM24HRS (or any other combo) in 10 years. Better get saving!

I don't think LM24 HRS would cost much. Currently LM53 HRS is on the dvla site for £250, unless someone at the dvla are aware that LM24 HRS was a significant number it will probably be sold off cheap.
