I am searching around but struggling to find much information about upgrades for the DBS. I have just ordered 2 front cat pipes from Quicksilver as a stage 1. And will probably get there back box next, not sure how loud there supersport box is, but don't want the car to be too noisy at low revs, as a weekend GT to get us to nice hotels at the end of a quiet scottish roads....

Anyone know whats best to go for the sports or the supersports? Also any other upgrades worth considering?

Bamford Rose do a range of staged upgrades. Personally I wouldnt change the backbox, it will already be more noisy just changing the cats. Or if you change the backbox to save weight then stay with one thats switchable so you can have it "normal" when required

depends on your use of course, but in the past ive had real noisy exhausts but then whats the point of having a useable phone or premium stereo when you cant hear it wink

When you say "upgrades" what are you after?
Quick silver stuff is more for noise
If you want more performance you need to look at cats and header.
BR are ex AM factory so have some good knowledge
What Tony is trying to say is there are others available
I'm sure they will get posted up in good time wink

Speak with Ian at HR Owen, there is a fantastic rear cat delete with switch. Sounds fantastic.

Just had 200 cell sports CATs fitted to my V8 (couldn't stretch to headers because of a clutch failure). The difference in noise is very good, I've put fuse 22 back in and the burble and low growl is awesome. They're good for 15 horse on a V8 but seem to make the engine pull better, but that could be the map that you also get to stop the emissions warning light.

Good thing about rear cats replacement on DBS is there are no sensors to consider = no warning lights thrown up

Thanks guys, Bamford Rose was my first port of call, phoned a couple of times this week and left a message. They must be busy, I will try them again next week.

Hi Guys, On another note does anyone know the cost of doing a 2+0 to 2+2 conversion and whos best to go to for it? New baby on the scene so I would rather modify what we have rather than trade up.
