Thanks to Melindi for sending me the discount booking code for our track day on Monday the 12th of May at Silverstone on the GP circuit , it's 105 db and open pitlane format .
new price is £399 for the full day you must book it here :

http://www.goliathreservations.com/res_web_directo...

The promotion code is : Biggreennob

Do not try and book through the Goldtrack website , you will not get discount !!!

We need 10 booked to confirm the discount .

I tried that but there is no facility or price for a half day. Is this still to be negotiated?

Last time I emailed directly so she could sort it, would love to book a full day but it's a bit steep for me. Last year was a great day so I'll definitely be there again this year.

I think I'd also like to do afternoon only please to save my car a bit and cut down costs. Would like to know how to do it when we have the information.

Can't wait to fly round Silverstone with you lads again, we need to go for a steak somewhere after the track day!

Email sent. Going to give my turbos one last chance to go pop before the new ones. Lol
I will have grooved disks on though so breaking will be better. Although I'm not heavy on my breaks.

Looking forward to it.

In my head there are only 5 times you should be using the brakes on a lap of silverstone but 4 of those are from high speed to low speed putting huge heat into the brakes, so on average roughly every 35 seconds they get toasted. The rest of the lap just lifting off should be enough. smile

Yes, but I'm a pansy and will start breaking early no doubt rather than stamping on them. Lol

That's why I like to go out on Pax rides with people who do it properly so I can experience it. Lol

Yep, should be epic if all the Big Guns can make it, there's a TGI's mere 20 mins away near M1!
Reckon the track day will be good too smile

If I don't spank a load of money on my engine (currently with SWLC) and the rings turn out to be fine (thanks for the advice Kevin) and not on a race day, I might swing along.
