Need Solenoid (probably means I need a motor too)

Hi, My solenoid is broke, and it does not seem to be possible to buy them in the UK, $25 in the US which would be great.

So its a new starter motor including solenoid - I hate replacing parts that are still fine. I can get one for £65 on fleebay though so its not the end of the world, though I would prefer to replace this weekend if pos. 4.0 Chim. Bosh Part number for motor is 0 001 110 120, and the solenoid is 331 303 168.

Does anyone have a spare they care to sell? I am near Luton and would be very pleased to collect Sunday.

I just bought a Britpart starter from Paddock, it was £78 delivered. Bargain. Seems great, turns it over much quicker than the old starter

But not to worry, I have managed to strip down and rebuild the solenoid and she's now a runner.
