I have to admit that being a relatively disorganised chap, I've never, and have still yet to create and organise a weights / cardio program, so quite often arrive at the gym with only a rough idea as to what I hope to achieve . . .

So, having just had a quick google, something like JEFIT Pro seems to be roughly what I'm after, as I have my Android phone with me for music.

I don't really need it to create a statistical database of every ounce of metal lifted, more as an incentive to complete whatever routine and sets of exercises I've setup for the week etc. also it means body parts get their requisite rest before being worked on again.

Anyone use or recommend a similar app?

ETA: Do the 4 main compound lifts ideally over 4 days:
Squat
Deadlift
Bench
Overhead
After you've followed the weight and reps from that program do 'assistance' work. I.e
Squat day - leg curls, calf raises
Deadlift day - back work (pulldowns, rows etc)
Bench day - dumbbell press, flyes etc
Oherhead day - dumbbell press, lateral raises etc
