Help - Error message Office 2000

Having had an worrying intrusion via the internet I carried out a system restore. Ever since then I have had the following error messages in Office 2000

When opening Excel
Complie error in hidden module AutoExecNew

When closing excel
Complie error in hidden module DistMon

When opening and closing Word
Complie error in hidden module AutoExec

I have tried to rid the system of this by uninstalling and reinstalling Office but the messages still appear.

Has anyone got any ideas how I should go about repairing this?
