I was wondering if there was anyway that we could make forums layout operate slightly differently, at present we would use the "quote" or "quote all" features to comment on a certain subject which is slightly disruptive to the way that a thread reads, would it be possible to have all comments on a picture or comment appear below said item? A bit more like Facebook and Twitter, so that the main thread is not interrupted by going back to the previous comment

Then when someone replies to the thread but doesn't use the quote bottom(s), you're sitting wondering wtf they're talking about as the reply they've made is to an apparent separate thread within the thread.

It's called 'top posting' and is considered bad form for a forum (and many consider it bad form for email too).

I've been on a couple of places that operate like that and quite frankly it's fking annoying, makes it almost impossible to follow what is going on.

In short, we won't be doing it. It wouldn't be easy to do and frankly, as has been mentioned, it's not the done thing.
