Finally got a nice Audi to replace my daughter's write off.
Flying down to pick it up in Norwich tomorrow, so what route should I take back to Glasgow to avoid the Scameras.
I'm in no hurry and would prefer a scenic one rather than endless, boring motorway.
Main thing is to try and keep my licence clean.

Thanks anyway Mike
I've had a look at Autoroute and will probably just go up the A1 for a bit and then come across at the borders.

Plenty of cameras on A1 including forward facing, also IIRC a fair few on the A17/A47 which you will use if you go that way. A66 from Scotch Corner claims to have a few but have yet to find them despite a few recent runs that way.

Not a BiB but still don't want you to get busted.

It's not nonsense at all, fairly simple to do and it means you keep your licence clean, something you are desperate to do.

Still, obviously nonsense

I do appreciate accidents happen and speed limits can be broken in mistake

Did this run a couple of weeks ago. A66 has a active van around the army camp. Be careful from that point on. Steve's Van seems to sit on the A74 stretch usually just after the Weighbridge sitting on a bridge over the road, but it sometimes hangs around the Carlisle bridges. Then there is the Dumfries Van usually again sits on a bridge after Lockerbie or sometimes on the Police Humps. Seems to prefer getting those heading south but no doubt covers the North side as well heading north.
