Hiring a hot hatch for a long weekend

Evening all.

I'm on the verge of buying my first BTL property, and as well as a trip the IOM TT booked and planned (and still no motorbike in my garage) means I am not exactly well off right now.
So due to my peasant status of recent times, I have access to a 1.2 Corsa or a Discovery diesel.
For my wife's 30th I am taking her to a Spa in the Highlands this March.
Being a PH, this has been conveniently planned by myself to involve some decent routes on the way there and back. And I know for a fact when I get there I'll be wishing I wasn't in a Vauxhall Corsa!
Is anyone aware of someone/people who will lease me a decent hot hatch for a long weekend for a decent-ish price?
I am half swinging towards spending £500 on a Mk2 MR2 for the trip and selling it afterwards.

Get in touch with Vauxhall fleet, and see if they'll give you a car to test for the weeekend.

I'm fleet manager at my company and they're usually quite good with things like this, discuss with your boss first...

Have hired from avis prestige previously, used to have S3 and Golf R but last had a TTS.

Used to go for wales blast weekend but now must hire by week, but maybe worth a try.
