Cinema 4D vs Apple Motion vs Adobe After Effects

I need to get my teeth sunk into these for creating some basic Pre-Roll and Post-Roll clips with 3D motion.

I'm looking for software which isn't a total nightmare to use and can create things quickly. I'm using a i7 iMac.

Which is best?

Well, Motion and AE are compositors and motion graphics creators. Cinema 4D is a full 3D modelling and animation package.

I'd say all would require a fair bit of learning (and tbh I've never even seen Motion running)

If you don't want to spend much money then how about using something free like Blender?
I've been out of 3D work for a while and tried this recently, was surprised how powerful it is.


So, if you want to use one package for titles creation I'd go with AE: it'll do 3D elements and obviously is a good tool for motion graphics.
