Hi to all owners of Nobleness
Discussion
Hi and thanks to all who contributed to this forum, for the last six months I have been lurking around researching the M12, finally bought M12 GTO3R, does'nt it go! Its got track sump, lsd, aircon, six speed gearbox and red and black perforated leather.
Want to get the new style rear lights next.
One questions, is the perforated leather standard or optional ?
I look forward to meeting some of you at the next Noble meeting.
Nick.

Whats the "track" sump?

Dusty, the standaed sump holds 5.5lts of oil and the trackday sump holds 8.5. This is to overcome the possibility of oil starvation in the engine when the car is operating at high cornering G's for a longer period of time(trackdays).

I might add to Martin's note that the "track day sump" is a baffled sump ie: there are pronounced chambers in the base designed to keep the oil distributed across the sump during high g (ie: high-speed bends) so you can tell from this that the M12 generates considerable grip!

8.5 litres is so much!
