Gutted.

Riding home - on a main road with a level crossing - where the gates were just beginning to raise - when a silly cow decided that she HAD to join the main road before the cars came through and T boned me.

Ouch!

I suspect the bike is a write-off - I'll find out tomorrow - but I can't buy another one - as they're sold out.

Not a happy camper.....

That's terrible. Hope you are physically OK. Best replace it with a 999R...

Hello mate. That's awful news. I'm glad that you're ok, but you must be gutted about the bike.

Still, the ashtray was probably full wasn't it? So time to get something else

Cheers

Sorry to hear about the 749, but thankfully you are ok I assume. Sure you will find another one that is still in stock somwhere.

None left. B*gger.

Looking at a 999R - but to be honest - I chose the 749R over the 999R as the turn in is (oops - was) so much better on the 749R.

Ho hum.

Ducati London basically don't understand how I have any legs left - I AM a very lucky bunny.

Anjum,
There's a 749R (dealer ad in the private section) in yesterdays MCN if you're interested.

I'll just pop out and get a copy of More Crap then News - as I seem to recall it has been re-christened!

Thanks barry sheene - if I can sort it - I'll sort you out a beer to two.

Maybe it is time to go for a track bike and not have to worry about idiots slamming into you. It also tends to be slightly more legal to ride any superbike on the track

Looks like I'm going to get a 205 999R instead.

Downside is that there are none until April 2005.....

But it has all of the mods - so bring it on!

I've been advised that the cheques in the post (yeah right - If you love me you'll swallow it - and all of that good stuff!)

Wey hey!

don't want to p1ss on your chips, but, as per your profile, the 749R doesn't have 140 rwhp. I doubt it has that much at the flywheel mate!

You obviously didn't read the profile vry well. He stated it would have that much rwhp after the introduction of a race kit.
