I managed to lock my keys in the boot and my wife in the car. She was unable to open the doors from the inside or the boot. I had to go home and fetch the spare key to get her out!!! Is there any way of unlocking the car in this situation. I have a audi TT. Thanks Jay
Faulty door micro switch can make the doors self lock . Check for symptoms , no window movement when opening / closing door , 1cm up or own ,no interior light , dash not lighting up when door open
Thanks for pointers i should have mentioned tt is cabriolet ive since read in owners maual quote "do not leave anyone in car if it is locked from the outside and dead locks activated doors and windows cannot be opened from inside"
