high and low boost
Discussion
Evening all,
Im wiring up my high/low boost. On the 3L loom i notice there is a plug with six terminals on the bulkhead, two of the terminals are labeled as boost. There is a link wire connecting these. Can i remove the link then wire in my switch? is this why the link wire is there?

Sounds right, as long as you are looking at the correct plug.
If so and you cut the link wire you should end up with lower boost than normal - ie boost control is disabled so you just get what the wastegate spring gives you.
Bridging it, via a switch, closes the loop so boost control is reinstated and you get whatever it has been set at in the ecu - your normal boost level.
From memory, I think the bridge wire is white?
