Original Vanquish clutch wear info

Hi, I'm interested in buying a Vanquish and seem to remember reading a specialist with the right tools can get info as to the percentage of clutch wear on a car via its diagnostic port. Can anyone confirm that this is the case or did I imagine it?

I believe the AMDS can give an indication - the ECU records the position of the bite-point so this can give an indication of wear.
