High Speed Lens Failure !!

Just to chear you up.....

Enjoying a 6:00 in the morning roof down blast to work yesterday - (well recommended) and I found a new cruise control feature.

At speeds in excess of 90mph my contact lenses dissappear behind my eyes - rolling back into place when the speed is dropped to the motorway limit. This does make for some interesting moments.

Anyone else have this feature ??

Glad I've gone for the enclosed version.

If this happened to me with my -7.5 prescription, it would be a case of "Where's the windscreen gone ?"

Once got one stuck in the inside corner of my eye and spend 50 miles trying to blink it out before giving up and stopping to do it, very strange sensation with such a differences in vision between two eyes

Had a contact lense fold back under my eye lid while going flat out round the Manchester Velodrome on a fixed gear bike , 1cm from the guy in front , with 5 other riders glued to my tail

Don't wear them now, and the banked track isn't half as scary.

PS ever been enyoying a top down thrash and had a seagull poo hit you in the face at 70mph... I have... well it felt like a seagull's
