Traffic Cops In Wendover (Bucks) Last Night

Fully marked traffic car parked outside the park in Wendover (On the Aylesbury Road) but with two coppers standing in the middle of the traffic island pointing the gun at everyone!
(This was at 10:20 at night!!!!!!!!!)
They were near where there used to be a gatso that was recently burnt down!
Can't think they would have got anyone in the pitch black.

Rather difficult to form a prior opinion of excess speed, also.

Why?
There are a perfectly good set of orange street lamps that light up the road so you can see them coming from, a long way off. Fair game too
One day you may well be the "fair game"...lets see how loudly YOU squeal then....

I would have thought the dazzle from the headlights would have meant they couldn't get anyone.
Also at that time of night I would have thought they would have been better suited actually in the centre of town where the pubs are etc not about a mile away on the road leading out of town.
All for getting the drunk drivers Tony but I think they should pull everyone over and test them not just point a laser at them. As far as I could see they were just reccording number plates to sent out NIPS.

30mph and I totally agree with it during the day (Its out of the town centre and the road is wide and fairly straight allowing good visability and the houses are set back from the road) however in the evenings + early morning (Before 7am) its a bit slow
(I suppose that brings back the arguments for a variable speed limit)

I value the cash in my account and will not give the authorities any chance to take any of it in a way which is either foolhardy or careless on my part!
It only takes a moments lapse in concentration to get screwed over by these stasi tossers though.

I refuse to give up £60 to any Govt cause so I concentrate fully all the time when driving any car
