Does anyone fancy a mini EV meet up? Based on the people who are getting an i3 in March in the Midlands - Fish, Greg_D, Mids, and ds666, I have looked for a suitable location. How about Waitrose in Lichfield to start then ideally find a nearby pub. It's 30 miles from Kidderminster where we have 2 EVs and and 29 miles from Derby. It's a little further for Mids and Fish but they've got the REx!

There is also a chargemaster/chargenow point at Waitrose just in case. Other suggestions appreciated!

Edit - just found this on tripadvisor, sounds ok. http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g18...

Probably doesn't sound as good as a "proper" car meet wink

It might not be a 19th century V8 but when you boot a Tesla Roadster the cabin fills with a distinctly futuristic turbine sound, a bit like the FX of a pod-racer blended with something out of Blade Runner, nicely compounded by 0.75g of grin-inducing acceleration.

I like it.

Come along to the midlands meet and I'll show you . . smile

. . having said that I've still got a weekend V8 biggrin
