Competition pack? Worth it?
Discussion
I'm in the process of selling my XKR due to arrival of first child. I quite fancy a c63 saloon as it would be far more practical and I imagine great fun to drive. I'm looking at a budget of between 30-32k.
Now I really I would like to get a 2010 model with less than 30k miles. This should not be an issue. However, if I want one with the competition pack I can probably afford one but with more miles 45k onwards probably.
Here is the dilemma. I plan to have the car re-mapped by DMS automotive in the hope of getting near 525bhp out of it.
If I am going to re-map it, is it worth having the competition pack? Just looking for opinions of people that have had there cars mapped or have the comp pack.

The competition pack (PP), has the internals from the black series (lighter pistons)and possibly a LSD
However, a remapped standard car will get as much power as a remapped PP car. Then you could fit a Quaife diff (Better than the OEM Diff).
i would go the Eurocharged route for a Re-map but that's just personal preference.
Mines a 2010 standard car running 634BHP (with a few small mods)
