...are they bad for you ? Notwithstanding calorie counting.....I know that sodium is avoided by bodybuilders...but other than that for those of us carb cycling are they not a great snack when Mr My Whey simply won't do...?

In moderation I can't see why they would be bad for you.

Haven't had a bag in years. Damn tasty things!

Quite. Thank you for the "non-neagtive" response. I need at least 5 non-negs to allow me to buy a bag at Farm Shop when i collect my daughter at 17.00...I am ravenous after my heavy BB session and a chicken hasn't worked

At the right time in the right place they are unbeatable; with a decent pint of ale to wash them down.

I fking love the little blighters.Sometimes, to kid myself I'm being healthy, I carve away the 'fat'and just eat the crispy skin. But if, as said, you're supping ale they're unbeatable.

Yet another positive from me. The only problem in our house is that the cat can hear you open a packet form up to 1/2 a mile away & he can eat them faster than I can.

Like all things, they are good in moderation. when you go through packets a day trying to further your darts career is where the trouble starts.

Mr Porkies in the black packet are the best. I can't stand the big quavers that are pork flavoured.

I shared a packet of them the other night with my mate, his dog and my dog. Even quite a large packet doesn't go far between four, two of whom are German shepherd dogs!

My local has homemade pork scratchings behind the bar in big jars. They serve them in a half pint glass.
I'd challenge you to not order them with a pint.
