HELP!! insurance nightmare!

As i metioned previously i'm thinking about getting an Esprit. I started checking around for quotes and firstly it was a mission trying to find someone willing to insure me as I am under 25. I eventually found someone and they hit me with a staggering £5600 on a 96 model GT3, garaged, alarmed and with tracker!!

Does anyone have any suggestions on who would be willing to insure me for a reasonable premium, given I have no convictions and a 2 years no claim bonus.

There must be someone out there!!

i'm with direct line.

you could try AON - they have a deal with club lotus. you may have to join club lotus to get the discount however.

if you ask the question on the yahoo group you'll probably get a better response.

Try Priveledge - My GT3 costs £700 pa ( 33, Full NCD ). Even my first Esprit ( an 86 N/A ) cost me less than £1000 and that was 10 years ago ( so I was 23 ). You could also try Peart Assocaites, they are good as well.

In the USA we buy a piece of crap for the primary car and list the Lotus as a secondary car driven after work and on weekends with lower premeiums.
