Hi guys and gals,
The radio reception in my S1 Elise is pretty poor and wondered if fitting the aluminium aerials improves this or whether they are just show and no go!

Anyone got any experience?

Chars,

Try this mate - www.elises.co.uk/components/s1/audio/index.html

Some tips which might improve things. Personally I'd recommend getting yourself an iPod and a docking station and forget about FM

Buy a CD changer/ MP3 player/ IPod Adapter

then

don't try and use the radio, reception is useless - no groundplane under the antenna you see

Just a quick update...

I bought an aluminium aerial from Ebay, I was very sceptical but they look nicer anyway so I went for it. Anyway, the radio reception is now ten fold better than it was with the standard aerial. OK it is still not brilliant but the Stereo and RDS indicators do stay on rather than flashing constantly.

Anyone else wanting to improve their radio reception, for £5 one of these aerials is a good buy and obviously very easily fitted.

Cheers,
Mark B

no worries.

Will be putting them on my website in the for sale items soon as I'm pleased with them too.
