Europe to Ban nitromethane

In a bid to prevent terrorists from making homemade bombs, the EU are apparently going to Ban the import of nitromethane.?
Read this in a magazine last week.

I think their proposing to limit sales to the Public without more checks not ban it, it also includes other things like Peroxide, drain cleaner etc
