That time of year again when we start planning the Brown Ale Run (BAR). The dates for this years run are April 25th-27th with two nights (Fri-Sat) in the following hotel.
I have managed to get a great rate at the Quality Inn Hotel which is located in Boldon, Tyne & Wear.
http://www.qualityinn.com/hotel-boldon-united_king...
I have been given the rate of £65.00pn Per double room £55.00pn single room which includes breakfast, use of all leisure facilities and free wifi. Booking reference BARTVR.
The hotel will be keeping their bar open for as long as we wish, and no problems for a wee rusty.
Their is a petrol station within 300m of the hotel for filling up, those requiring Vpower or the like Shell is approximately 1 mile away.
All support of the BAR is most welcome, it is a great weekend.
Regards
Rob

Hi All,
Just got back from a local Air Museum that we are looking to visit on our way back in from Saturdays run. They have very kindly allowed us to take the cars in and get them up close to the aircraft on display. There are various aircraft on display including the mighty Vulcan which is situated on hard ground, so that should make for a good group shot. Also their is various original old Blackpool trams on location. As luck would have it there was a keen armature photographer on site taking photographs for a poster for the museum. I was over the moon when they said bring the wedge in and photos where taken in front of the tram with "Blackpool Transport" just above the bonnet area of the wedge. The photographer is going to forward the pictures onto me. I will post them up.
Cheers
Rob
