Zafira GSI sudden random power loss????

Please can anyone help, I have Zafira gsi, got vxr turbo, remap, cat downpipe, suddenly @3000 revs started to loose power and makes a drrrrr noise (maybe that's a misfiring) took to vaux who diagnostic found nothing, turbo fine, preasure all good and no fault codes they changed plugs to twins (I thought they had to be single NGK's?) thinking maybe coil pack and/or MAF it also runs great when cold for about 5 mins then starts the power loss again, but when I drive it like a nun you wouldn't know there was a problem at all (apart from the turkey noises), thanks in advance. Sadly I am in Penzance Cornwall and finding it VERY difficult to find anyone who really knows these engines.

I would try Vxronline, if you haven't already, and maybe Astra owners network (its essentially the same engine that came in the more popular Astra GSI)
Sounds like a MAF problem to me, common aswell I hear.
