Having watched Embarrassing Bodies a few times, I can tell you it will only get worse so you might as well get it looked at now as you will later.
Yeah I know, I'll make the call. Was just reading the 'effing cancer thread' Would like to offer my condolences. Its rare I wine about minor issues and do live most days as if they were my last...would be nice to sit down every now and then

Of all places!! Can't think of anything worse than getting my stink out for the doc
Has anyone had one removed?
I keep putting the call off to get it looked at
Don't worry. I'll bet most GPs see at least 1 ass a day. Has anyone had one removed?

I had a student in my appointment with the GP. He regretted looking far more than I disliked showing.

Things like mountain biking must be a real PITA.My brother had one and his (extremely understanding) wife "lanced it". Several mls of liquid was secreted. Thing was it kept returning every 6 months or so. Eventually had it operated on and had it packed with all sorts of odd stuff.
Came back a year later!
He too cycles a lot (to/fro work every day for starters!!)
Wife still very understanding!!!!
Adds a new dimension to "ripping a new a
hole"

... and this one.OP, I've had ten years of arse surgery now. I'm booked in for another rebore (under GA) on 10/02/14.
I'm sure I brought much of this upon myself by doing the typical bloke thing of not going to the doc straight away ("it'll be fine tomorrow").
Honestly, get it seen to.
If I could wind the clock back ...

Ah well, here goes...into the archives.
Bloke goes to old Chinese doctor.
Doctor, I'm in trouble, every time I fart, it goes HONNNDA. What can be wrong with me?
"Easy" says Chinese doctor "ru got abscess on your bum"
How do you know that, without looking?
"Easy" says Chinese doctor....
"Everybody know...Abscess make the fart go Honda"

My nephew had one of these, took two years to get rid of. He received appalling treatment from the hospital and eventually his mum sued them and he was awarded 17 grand compo.
He lost 18 months off school as he could not physically sit down. It was operated on several times, after one such operation the doctor told him to go home, despite the poor bugger being in agony and not having any transport. "Catch a bus" the asshole doctor told him.

I had one of these 20 odd years ago.
4 operations followed by daily visits from the district nurse, until I was well enough to drive an Automatic car (Which my boss swapped my existing company car for, Merc 190E).
Once well enough I went to my GP daily for a few months after the operation, seeing the practice nurse, then heading into work.
Spent so much time at the GP's that I actually ended up marrying the practice manageress.
Were still together 23 years later.
So you could say I exchanged one pain in the arse for another one...
