Hello my name is Bob Scocca,
Currently ordered an Ultima for delivery some time around end of March 2014.
Live on Long Island.
So the question begs "Is there anyone out there"

Welcome Bob
I will bet you can't wait for that big box to arrive from our side of the pond!
Remember, you are not building a car but enjoying a great hobby.............and you get a car to drive at the end of it (it never ends though...lots of upgrades possible!).
If we can help, we will, and no question is too simple (most of us are simple too).

Bob there are several of us out here in California. Welcome to the Ultima community. We will be having a Ultima get together in April contact me by PM for details . Lee
Lee, put me on your e-mail circular for the get together. Work has habit of getting in the way, but you never know.Julian
Hi Jim,
I' getting the trans axle from Ultima directly, then I'm sending it to a well know Porsche trans guy to do all the fixin up (oil pump, diff, side bearing support covers)
As for the engine still up in the air as to whom to buy from Texas speed or American Speed. definitely going to be an LS7
Any feed back will be greatly appreciated

finally figures out how to reply to multiples while looking at the names.
Crossram-- done been building cars of some sort for 20+ years very sound advise.
Storer-- so very true about the journey building and never finishing a car, Still updating and perfecting a FFR Cobra 4 years after completion.
Rowdyrenault- Would love to join you guys out there one year but I think April it to soon
, Maybe next year. Lived in San Jose in mid 80's man has the area changed, still have family there.
BarrieJames-- I've come to realize that this is a great community with alot of insight and experience. I've been lurking in the shadows for a while but only recently registered.
And finally, i'm down to approx 8 weeks before arrival of the new addition.

Hi Bob
Mike from The "other" forum, thanks for the heads up.
So far I am impressed with this car. Looking for a retirement build
I know I am a Factory Five owner (and fan), but this is so up my alley (Can-AM)
I need a ride in one of these to put me over the top, I want to feel what I may get into here
Have you thought of how far (HP) you will go ??
This is the big question for me as I have friends with Cobra's with way too much HP and the drivability is just stupid, I swear my 300+ HP roadster
is faster in the twists than cars with twice the power (I have a modified frame)
Good luck, All the best, I will be watching
