Anyone with Vagcom near Portsmouth?
Discussion
Evening all
My 2008 'b8' Audi A4 has developed an intermittent central locking fault and hoped I could cut through the vague internet stories by seeing if Vagcom could shed some light on it.
Using the remote fob often doesn't unlock the rear passenger door although it can be opened from the inside. No other doors seem to be affected and the internet suggests it could be a micro switch, cable or even a solenoid at fault?
I am local to Portsmouth but willing to drive within 20 miles for diagnosis. Beer tokens can be shared...
I can be contacted via the message function.
Thanks

Try rs246.com or other enthusiast sites. More likey to find somebody on there with vagcom as many RS owners use it as a weekly health check for older Audi RS models such as the B5 RS4 and C5 RS6. I had my own vagcom when I owned my RS6 but sold it with the car. Failing that buy a copy off an owner. Very handy tool to have.
Surprised no-one has mentined JKM in Portsmouth - VAG specialists and tuners who also come recommended by...me!
