Hi

I'm trying to find an Aston Martin to surprise my brother by taking him to the Church when he gets married on the 3/5/14. We are located in Stourport on Severn and the church is approx 14 miles away. The car would be required to take him to the church and then for a few photo's with him and his bride after the service. Ideally he would love a DB9 but any modern Aston would be fantastic. I'd love to be able to arrange this for him as our mom died 10 years ago when he was just 19. I recently got married and I know how hard the day is not having her there so I'd like to make the day a little easier for him. If you would be able to help please email me at emily.foxall1981@live.co.uk

Thank you for taking the time to read this
Kindest regards
Emily

Emily, what a wonderful thing for you to arrange and for such a heartfelt reason. I'm nowhere near you and have a V12 Vantage rather than a DB9 but if you don't get any offers I'd make the trip.

That said, I think you'll get plenty of offers biggrin

What's going on Woollie, sell your bloody car and get a DB9.2 and get the job done properly.
I get so fed up with half arsed responses when people ask for help. biggrin
P.S. On second thoughts ,that's really nice of you to offer.
Best of luck to the OP.

As long as I can go to the toilet unassisted I'll stick with the Vantage. When the time comes then I'll swap to the DB9 biggrin

Ah, now I know what the rear seats in a DB9 are for, it so you can fit a commode !

That's the spirit Woollie . I'm with you all the way (and just as sparkly!).

OP..It's a lovely thought and I too will come if you don't get anyone closer.

Nah, Rob & I don't really get involved in wedding stuff since an unfortunate incident last year

However - to the person looking for help finding a local volunteer try this link where you will find you can email the Area 5 AMOC rep, Fay Langton. I'm sure she will put the request out to the local group and I would be fairly confident of you finding a local volunteer ...
