Brembo e38 calipers
Discussion
Have any of you guys fitting these split them? If i do split them are there any internal brake fluid channels linking the two halves or is it just the single external pipe that links them?
The reason I ask is I have a sized piston and need to force it out with grease, if I take the linking pipe off and bung the end will that stop the grease going into the other half of the caliper IYSWIM?

Thanks Buzz, i intend fully servicing both calipers but dont want to split them unless i have to as im not sure if there are mating seals. There are no mating seals in my repair kit. If i know they are solid with no internal seals then i can split them, sort out the stuck piston and get them coated but i dont want to split them and find there are seals that i cant get if you see what i mean.

No mating seals, the fluid is passed between the inner and outer pistons via the link pipe.Cheers
