I want to get out of my Z4 and use the equity in it (was a cash purchase) or my house build.

I have been offered an outgoing C class as follows: CD250 AMG Sport premium for £299 a month, 10K miles pa. Guaranteed value at end £16050.

It seems a great deal but just wondered if I am missing anything?

Thanks

To establish whether it's a good deal....

1. What is the representative APR they are charging you? Don't let them quote you the fixed rate it's the overall rate you need to know.

2. What is the deposit they are asking for?

The future guaranteed value isn't really that important. The main figure is the APR.

Let me know the figures - sorry, I'm an accountant!!!!

It's a 3 year deal. Deposit is £5000 and the 35 monthlies are £299 inc VAT.

APR 5.9% iirc.

Sounds ok, but 5.9% seems a bit high. Try and get it down a wee bit if you can, or get free servicing / tyre insurance included?

Cheers for that!

I'm thinking about it over the weekend but agree that extras, such servicing, would need to be included to make me push the button.

Try and get GAP insurance included as part of the deal. You will need that when not paying cash for the car.

It sounds like a nice car....go on....push the button tomorrow....it's near their month end so will be wanting the sale! Squeeze them for as much as you can....gets mats and tank of fuel as well!

Good luck!

Not sure if this is all that great a deal, you can certainly get a better lease deal if you are not bothered about paying and keeping the car at the end of the term.

I've just leased a C250CDI Estate AMG Sport with premium plus pack on a 6+23 for £350/month inc VAT and that is on 15k miles so would seem a better deal, similar deals available for 3 year terms as well. I went through Pantheon Leasing for mine but there seems to a lot of similar ones out there.

Thanks guys for all the input!

I've decided to sell the Z4 privately and then go from there. Much more options for me then.

Freedom contracts rates are not as good on that mileage with metallic paint when you add VAT on. You need to look past the headline rate.
