Quick question..
Will 206 GTI 16" Nimrods with 195/45 16 tyres fit a 206 GLX?
Thank you kindly...

If those wheels have always had 195's fitted then they could be really old wheels. Only the 206 GT and GTi (when 16" wheels were optional extras) came with 195's.
Later standard fit 16" Nimrods (2000 onwards) always came with 205 tyres.

I've got the alloys without tyres, and which have come off of a GTI 180.. Do you know what year the 205 tyres became standard or if they were standard on the180's?

The 180 only came with 17" wheels so these will be off the standard GTI. I think.the width changed in 2001 when they had a slight update.

As I already said, the 205/45/16 Goodyear F1 tyres became standard sometime in 2000. Previously the 16" wheels were part of the optional Sport Pack on the GTi.

It's a bit hard to tell exactly when because there are cars with the 16" wheels with no side airbags and also in 2000 sometime the RFN coded cars were introduced.

Maybe the 16" wheels were introduced when the GT was discontinued. Your wheels should be date stamped anyway.
