Skipping HD video when panning - what am I doing wrong?

My videos are very annoyingly skipping when panning. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWaS-LA3qrc for example.
I thought it was a rolling shutter effect and that I'm kind of stuck with it shooting on a DSLR but after reading more about it I don't think that's what it is, correct?
It looks different than rolling shutter I saw on Youtube example videos and also it occurs even with very slow panning.
Most of the video above was shot on 5DMK3 with settings: 1920x1080 25fps IPB PAL
edited with iMovie and exported as mp4 but I don't think PP is an issue because I can see it even when editing.

The couple of sections I looked at suggested repeated fields, not skipped fields. Somewhere in the chain your framerates are being changed.
What you're seeing would be the classic symptoms of a poor standards conversion, maybe from 24 to 25p or 30p to 25p etc....
Take a look at all of your setting very closely, from camera through to import and final render.
For starters though, playback the video in your camera and check it's OK there.

Hmm, after researching even more it looks like many people experience similar things with latest iMovie which I also use. There is no option anymore to change the fps etc and the file is automatically saved as mp4 where previously it was MOV so probably it converts my 25fps to 30fps.What you're seeing would be the classic symptoms of a poor standards conversion, maybe from 24 to 25p or 30p to 25p etc....

I'll try to edit next video in older version of the iMovie and will see does it help. Which is a shame because the new one works much faster.
